1970's Italian Opaline Glass Vases
£80.00
Pair of c.1960-70's Mid-Century Modern Italian glass vases from the Empoli region, often attributed to the glassworks of Vetreria Barbieri, also known as V.B. Opaline Florence. They feature a distinctive orange, brown, and white swirled, marbled design.
They were popular in the 1960s and 1970s, reflecting the era's Pop Art style. The vases are hand-blown cased glass construction, where a white opaque (opaline) inner layer is overlaid with vibrant orange and brown swirls.
They measure 31.5cm tall, 15cm wide and weigh 885g and 905g.
